not really, didnt have spare cash to put in BP and also I wasn't convinced it would come back up so fast. It did and maybe it will go down again . Did you buy?

I sold my lloyds today at 60.45. A small profit so have a bit to play around with now.

well its partly because fogl came up with nothing so people transferring their investment to NFB companies and RKH have hit oil plus I think some big sellers have sold so price is following demand/supply. Hope the flow test for rkh is good and then it should be upwards. We misse dthe baot on BP, and it is still a take over target but that maybe just a smoke screen.

Gutted but i have to sell my remaining stake in RKH as i need the cash urgently. if i could have afforded it, i wouldve held for much longer.

I hope there is still time to buy back in after september.

mec and co - i'll tell u this - watch out for ARGOS resources, they are about to list on the AIM market, they will also be drilling in the NFB - directly east of sea lion!!!! more opportunities!

i'm glad i didnt get into FOGL

also mec - thoughts on petromatad?? MATD - confirming hydrocarbon shows today, the biggest riser - they have several prospects! could be headed £1+

Following on from NPE - Encore Oil is a good shout as they are due to drill cladham shortly!

Checked it out already Only thing that makes me nervous is the mongolians in this whole picture. I was looking at it when it was 67p and thought yeah it will retrace and I may get some , about 5 mins later it was 87.. I still think it will retrace and I am not convinced from their RNS on actual commercial oil. It was worded craftily. Maybea good short term investment. Just my thoughts though! DYOR

Heard about argos as well but only on the bbs , wasnt sure where they will drill....

Nawaz..I am still waiting for BP's wind to settle.. I dont think it will hit 5 quid that fast butthen again it has gone totally the other way to what I thought.. I just want to offload barclays witha small profit and Citi is making me 100% profit atm so maybe good tiem to sell that as well and reinvest...

Bit disappointed with the debut of Ag Bank. Only 3 % rise in the first half hour of trading. Leaving for pak later Tonight. hoped for a quick couple of thousand dollars but not to be. Now I am in for a long haul. Hopefully in about 10 years its prcie would be the same as HSBC and I would be easily retiring into the sunset

Absolutely gutted about BP shares, now that the leak is probably stopped, its just going to be clean up operation for them, this share will be back to usual levels in 2-3 months.

BP was too expensive at 4.10, Im content to wait till 3.50, no one will want to buy until the relief well is completely done.

congrats on the antofagasta - that was a v shrewd investment for a tidy profit.

glad i held onto lloyds - just waiting to offload them now, ideally want to wait for their results as im expecting good results and then get a few extra pence per share.

mec have u been following GKP - nawaz can vouch for the fact that i've been raving about them for 10 mths + now

sitting on an absolute monster oil find but there were rumours of takeover speculation! gutted i didnt get in earlier but i will look at getting in on them now as the political situation in iraq stabilises and they either move on with production as mentioned in their RNS or the takeover materialises!

DPL was a massive duster, glad i avoided them!!!!

Encore oil and NPE to drill again in the next month or so

NPE are onto kraken field shortly which is their best prospect.

DPL still got prospects I think. I am holding on there for now. I looked at GKP and wanted a better entry point as they had just risen that day so maybe worth taking a look on Monday however if rumors of takeover are true or they start production as per their RNS what is arealistic share price?

If RKH hit oil at Ernest the share is going monster. I am already close to my target price of 3-50-4.0 on it.

Cant understand NPE and why they are so low priced with a guranteed find + kraken.

IMO there wont be any double dip recession. I am up on Barclays a little but will wait till earnings reports for the quarter before selling. sold lloyds at 60 odd p and look where it went.

basically just floated on AIM market - only managed to raise 22million odd. They have license to drill out in the NFB in the falkland islands. Theoretically the closest wells to the massive sea lion well which rocky struck oil at! BUT they are 18 mths-2 years away from even drilling, need more cash thru a rights issue etc so im not touching it atm but want to be in at some point.

Rocky - drilling ernest, inshAllah we get +ve news, could be anytime next week if they are succeaaful, any longer and then probably a duster

yeah I waiting for a good entry point in GKP but its taken off again. I de-risked RKH a bit by taking profit mostly by mistake, i was just checking what price i would get and accidentally pressed yes to negotiated trade an couldn't cancel quick enough. Sold at 3.27 so not too unhappy about it. Anyhow I am placed to invest back in RKH if duster and maybe even if it is not. Desire is my main play tbh.

I just cant believe my screw up with lloyds.. you boys holding or took profits. Barclays down today was a bit surprising after their quarterly results, I was looking forward to a nice rise.

i also sold barclays for £3.40

i'm waiting for retraces on both - lloyds again looking at 60p and barclays sub £3

also cant wait to get into aviva - want to look at £3-£3.50

is it wise to buy gkp at the moment?

I heard there is a chance of them going up to £2 by end of the year?
